There are ski lifts in nearly ecery village along the Vsetín Bečva, the biggest and most well known ski centres are in Velké Karlovice.It includes several ski slopes, of which the most well known are Kyčerky, Machůzky and Razula.

Good conditions for beginners and more advanced downhill skiers can be found in the  larger ski resorts with modern ski lifts. Skiers interested in cross-country skiing on the surrounding hills can utilize several different challenging cross-country routes, several of which are managed.
